Kakobuy Glasses: Frame Width Is the Fit Measurement Most People Forget

Eyewear is light but fit-sensitive.

A frame can look good in a product photo and still be too narrow, too wide or wrong through the bridge.

Compare a frame you own

Record: lens width, bridge width, temple length, overall frame width if available.

Many frames print part of this information on the temple.

Use the reference instead of relying on "small/medium/large."

Visual fit

Consider: lens shape, frame height, bridge, temple angle, overall width.

QC

Useful evidence: straight front view, side/temple view, hinge area, both arms open, close-up of visible scratches, case/accessories if expected.

A photo cannot confirm optical prescription accuracy unless a specific optical test is actually provided.

Parcel protection

Keep a rigid case or suitable protective structure when lens/frame damage is a concern.

The item is small enough that removing all protective packaging often saves little relative to the damage risk.

Frame geometry

Fit comes from the relationship among: lens width, bridge width, temple length, total frame width, frame height.

A wide lens with a narrow bridge can fit differently from another frame with the same overall width.

Use your current glasses as a ruler

Look inside the temple arm of a pair you already wear.

Many frames show measurements such as lens width, bridge and temple length.

Save those values and compare them with the live listing.

Hinge and temple QC

Useful evidence: both temples open, frame straight from front, hinge area, side profile, case/accessories.

A frame can look symmetric while closed and twist when the temples are open.

Lens claims

Warehouse photos can reveal visible scratches or tint.

They cannot automatically confirm: optical prescription, UV performance, polarization, lens material specification.

Treat those as product/specification claims unless a specific test is documented.

Packing value

A hard case adds some volume but can provide high protection relative to the item's size.

Do not remove it automatically to save a small amount of space.
